Ensemble Obligat supreme at their concert in Schloss Schönebeck
Suite No. 6 by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier put the spotlight on flute and harpsichord, confirming the high quality and creative energy of the Ensemble. It was characterised by lively tempi, energetic dynamics, suppleness right down to the smallest details. Flautist Imme-Jeanne Klett produced an extensive repertoire of nuances in expression over an extraordinary range, with colours from mystic depths to brilliant heights. She was accompanied with the utmost sensitivity and virtuosity by Anke Dennert on harpsichord. Their performance stood out with its flexibility in sound, and the purity and agility with which they expressed the moods from anthem-like climaxes to feather-light cantilena lines
